Arranging, Composition & Transcription

As well as being a performer Alice has extensive experience as an arranger and writer. With strong knowledge of music theory and compositional techniques Alice has the skills to write across genre and to any given brief.

Since studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music Alice has had a huge passion for arranging, rearranging and composition. Her work ranges from Acid Jazz & Soul Funk through to Rock and Classical and her work has lead her to becoming Musical Director on some very diverse projects. Her breakthrough into professional arranging was with Masai Cultural Arts at the 2018 Kenyan Music Festival. Since then she has continued providing musical services to a range of artists and companies including songbook transcriptions, bespoke arrangements and compositions and most recently has lent her skills to songwriting and production company SongNerd Productions.

As a vocal arranger her work can be found in backing vocals for original artists as well as in choral arrangements for professional and community choirs. Alice works to create music suitable for the singers performing while adding her own highly identifiable style and flair to each piece

Alice has a passion for bringing music, humor and vocal arranging to one place and has been involved in composing jingles and advertising material for a variety of independent businesses. Alice takes time to get to know the business she is working with, what their goals are and then set's to work out how she can best represent them in music With a range of session players and voice actors at her disposal and a professional recording set up there really isn't a project Alice can't cater her skills to.

Alice's knowledge for music theory and keen ear means she is perfect for any transcription, arranging or compositional job. Her work has seen her writing full orchestral and big band arrangements through to small transcription for tattoos and artwork. Often her work is included in educational material, such as online with educational site Jammin' Player.
